My mission
Welcome to my world of art, home, and simple living.
I'm Vilda, an artist dedicated to capturing the fleeting moments that often pass unnoticed, turning them into lasting reminders of the beauty that fills our everyday lives.

Like many, me and my husband Erik (that has a non neglectable presence on my social media) have dreamed of a life closer to nature, offering our kids a calm, screen-free childhood and healthy, home-cooked meals. We imagined a self-sustainable homestead with family rituals, creative Thursdays, and kids who love tempeh and green smoothies. Instead, we’ve found ourselves navigating the same chaos as everyone else—trying to make ends meet, occasionally messing up, but always sticking to our purpose. It’s not perfect, but it’s life: messy, mended, and beautiful, like the Japanese art of kintsugi—where the cracks are filled with gold, making the whole thing more precious for its imperfections.
We may not have it all figured out, but we have our home, our kids (five in total, four still at home and one already grown), our dog, rabbits, and hamster. We have our (sometimes rough around the edges but lovely) village and neighbors, and above all, we do our best with what we have. That’s why my art exists—to bring a bit of that slower, more intentional world into your home today, even if you’re still working on getting there.
Through my paintings, I celebrate the beauty in the everyday: a child lost in play, a mother’s quiet moment, the soft way light falls on a simple afternoon. These are the moments that tell the real story of home, not quite idyllic but reminding us of what truly matters.
Join me as I paint, share our journey, and create art that helps you see the magic in your own everyday life.
Love,
